The purpose of this blog is to share ideas for creating a classroom that is inspired but uses little cash. Obviously teachers don’t go into the profession because they have a desire to earn tons of money. That’s why I think it is so helpful to share ideas about classrooms and how to live a life that fully utilizes the income we do earn. Sshare ideas too. You can call me Mrs. Prudent Classroom

I read through all of your ideas and truly appreciate this blog.
I’ve often wondered about the refrigerated coffee concept. Why wouldn’t it work? Some weeks I drink the same coffee from the coffee maker carafe for three days without refrigeration, just because there is no time to make it.
I work at a parochial school where the pay is practically at poverty level. There are so many things that I can’t afford. Thanks so much for all of the fabulous ideas!

Kristen, I hear you! We teachers need to stretch a dollar until it screams!
I have a million ideas and have notes for them, just need to take pictures and post them. I hope that you will subscribe so you can see some things and share some of your tricks too!
